About Us

Membership

Membership is required in both the National organization and with our local  H.B. Wavecresters chapter to be able to attend the meetings. The combination of national and local dues remains the best value found for a women’s organization.

ABWA National

The American Business Women's Association (ABWA) is a prestigious, national organization established for working women and women business owners.  It is a community where women can be part of a national organization with a local connection, come together to gain career development and pursue business opportunities while being influenced and mentored by like-minded women who really care.

Local Chapter

HB Wavecresters of ABWA's purpose is reflected in the national Mission Statement with a focus to strengthen, support and educate the women of our own chapter and within the community of Orange County. A Wavecrester member will symbolize the values of Ethics, Excellence, Leadership, Integrity and Teamwork.

Why join the hb wavecresters?

The Huntington Beach Wavecresters Chapter of the American Business Women's Association was chartered on July 7, 2003. We network, collaborate and build relationships with our members and proudly support each others businesses.

Chapter fundraisers have given us the opportunity to help local women for the past 15 years!   By partnering with local organizations such as Project Self Sufficiency, the CARE program at Golden West College/Orange Coast College and Pathways to Independence, we have increased the impact our educational scholarships have on the women within our community who are trying to better themselves and become self-sufficient.

We proudly distribute (6) $500 local Educational Scholarships every year!
